| Thank you to everyone who got your leaves out by the curb yesterday! Of course, it would have been even nicer if DJF came and picked them up. Alas, with all the rain this past week, they got behind and have pushed our leaf pick up date to Monday, October 31. If we hear any other updates we’ll let you know. Thank you for your patience! As a reminder, there will still be a second leaf pick up. Details below. Pickup date 2: Friday, November 18 If the weather doesn’t permit, alternative pick-up dates will be 11/21 or 11/22 Just in case you’re new to the area, leaves are to be piled up on pavement, not on the grass, and should not include sticks, grass clippings or other yard waste. Houses around the lake pile them neatly on the road. New this year: We’ve been informed by David J Frank that if leaves are placed at the road after they make their final pick-up on 11/18, residents will be responsible for the cost to bring them back out. |
