Save the Date: Townhall Discussion Around Capital Projects on Nov 1 & Nov 4 The LDC Board members have been meeting to discuss capital projects for 2024 and would like to present two particular capital projects of interest to the community prior to our annual budget meeting. This will ensure residents have a better understanding of these when it comes time to vote on our 2024 budget. We’ll hold two different dates that you can attend – whichever one fits with your schedule. Both will be held in person at the LDC Clubhouse. Wednesday, November 1: 7-8pm Saturday, November 4: 10-11am To be clear – this meeting is not to decide on all capital projects, it’s just to help get input on two projects that have various options to go through. Capital project consideration 1: Security Cameras A couple residents have done a lot of work to research security camera options after residents voiced their opinions in a survey that they want more comprehensive security solutions. At these townhalls, we’ll go over the three levels of security to better understand community interest. Capital project consideration 2: New Pier Last year some residents started researching new pier options for the lake. As a board we decided to put a bandaid on the situation and fix the pier for the short term with the intent to replace it with something nicer in the near future. Three options have been put together and those will be presented at this meeting to gauge community interest. We will be sharing more details of these two capital projects and their corresponding options prior to the meeting so that residents can review materials and come prepared to discuss. We’ll also share the security survey results from earlier this year. Please save the date and join us! |
Save the Date: Semi-Annual in-person LDC Board meeting on Dec. 5 On Tuesday, December 5, we’ll be discussing YTD financials and the 2024 proposed budget. More details to follow! |
