A note from the LDC Board…

Hi everyone – just a reminder that Monday is the first meeting to be part of the bylaw committee that’s being formed to review proposed changes to the bylaws. If you would like to participate and make your voice heard, please join the committee and attend this meeting. At some point this year, a final version will be presented to residents to vote on changes, but similar to Budget votes, it will likely be a “yes” or “no” vote. NOW is the time to become actively involved if you want to provide substantial feedback. 

Additionally, the point of updating these bylaws is not just to modernize them, but also to provide more oversight, accountability, and transparency to some of the processes we already have in place. If there are things you see being done today that are not clear to you, and it’s not explicitly stated in the bylaws, now is the time for us to have those discussions. 

Finally, if you do plan to attend, please reach out to Aaron as he has some preliminary documents to share with those attending, prior to Monday’s meeting (see his contact information below).

I’m working with Lindsey (LDC President) and the HOA’s attorney on the process of amending our neighborhood covenants and bylaws. We are planning on having a homeowner meeting to discuss the process and desires for updates on Monday, February 27 at 7:30pm in the clubhouse. 

If LDC residents are interested in being involved or providing input, please come to this meeting.
