New Landscaper Hired

Over the past 6 weeks, it has become increasingly apparent that the vast majority of Lac Du Cours Homeowners have been extremely dissatisfied with the landscaping performed by Stano Landscaping, Inc. In addition to a dangerous altercation taking place on our property, which had to involve the Mequon Police Department, the appearance of the LDC common areas has been steadily declining since hiring Stano Landscaping, Inc., affecting all homeowners and their respective property values by extension. The upkeep and beautification of our collective LDC property is of utmost priority to the board. The Grounds Team on the LDC Board has been working feverishly to find an immediate replacement, and has found a quality candidate in James Landscaping. Mr. James has graciously agreed to pick up the remainder of Stano’s contract for 2013, which will keep our 2013 yearly Grounds allotment on budget. The past 18 months with Stano have left certain parts of our community overgrown and in need of attention. The James Team will be working to get those areas addressed as soon as possible, but the Board would appreciate your patience as the new landscaper takes the time to get to know our property and the best way to address it’s many needs. If you have questions regarding Grounds or landscaping, please feel free to email the board at www.lacducours.org and a member of the Grounds Team will respond as soon as is possible. As a reminder, we ask that independent homeowners not instruct work to be done to the common areas overseen by LDC without first getting it approved by the Board. This policy is not intended to keep LDC Homeowners from voicing their opinions or suppress involvement, but instead keeps us on budget and a chain of communication clear to all LDC contractors. Again, please contact the Board if you have concerns and we will do our best to make sure they get addressed.
