LDC Survey Results! Wow, we had an amazing amount of responses to our recent LDC Survey around recreations and board positions. Keri and Kiersti put together an overview of the results so you can also see the collective thoughts and where we might start to plan for 2023. Attached is the ppt that goes through the results. Other notes regarding survey responses: – If you expressed interest in a board member position or board supporting committee, thank you, and we will be in touch on info sessions to be held in early 2023. – We will also be reaching out to those that expressed interest in helping with the tennis backboard, tennis courts and pickleball lines for help on these initiatives in 2023. – We will be piloting yoga classes offered at the clubhouse this winter. If you want to be on the yoga communication list and you did not identify yourself in the survey, please email kerifthayer@gmail.com and kgefke@gmail.com. – If you expressed interest in a dog run on the field and would like to lead or join an exploratory committee on this initiative, please email leroyja15@gmail.com. This topic needs additional diligence in 2023 before budgeting or taking action. |
Free for The Taking… The picture below is of a garage frame for stacking/storing firewood. The owner converted to a gas fireplace and no longer needs it. It’s at the boat rack, there for the taking. Need to haul it home? The trailer can be used – that’s how Meg and Hack got it there. |
Check Your Boats/Canoes/Kayaks for Water – Freezing Temps Will Ruin Them! It has also come to our attention that there are “crafts” down by the beach that are full of water. If these remain as is, the freezing will expand and ruin them. Make sure yours is tipped over or covered so your vessels aren’t ruined this winter! (From Hack Noyes) |
