The lake is finally completely frozen!!! Please join us this Friday night at the LDC Clubhouse for Family Night at 5:00. Despite the warmer temps today and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday nights should be well-below freezing temps, so we’re clearing the lake for ice-skating! We’ll also order pizza, have salads and have an open-mic night for some of our more talented neighbors and kids! Bring your own alcoholic beverages, but we’ll provide the soda and refreshments for the kids. Cost is $5/person at the door, and to make sure we have enough pizza, salad and sodas in advance, please email Shannon Tiger at shannontigerteacher@gmail.com with your RSVP. Children under 5 are free. (They don’t eat $5 worth of food!) We’ll also have a play area set up for our littlest of Lac Du Coursians inside the clubhouse, so no need to stay home with the baby, Mom! We’ve got plenty of baby and toddler toys to keep them occupied.

Additionally, if you want to get in the door for free, we’ll comp your $5 in exchange for an ice-candle to set out on the ice and make the skating even more wonderful! (If you can’t come to the party but still would like to donate an ice candle, we’ll find someone to make you a complimentary cocktail before you leave when you drop it off).
