Fishing Tournament Reminder, LDC Fall Help Day And Other Upcoming Important Events

Reminder: LDC Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 8, 2022

Get your fishing poles ready! Scott Krueger and Justin Olson are hosting an LDC Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 8 from 7 am – 9 am.

Here’s how it will work:  We will all meet at the shore by the LDC clubhouse at 6:45 am. You must be with a resident of LDC to participate. Also, all ages can participate but young ones should be accompanied by a parent. Please bring your own fishing poles and equipment. Top 3 largest fish will get a prize. This should be game fish. Bullheads and carp won’t be counted.Photo proof is needed of the fish.Point of clarification:  If you do not have a boat, you can still fish from the shoreline.

Own a boat/canoe/kayak or live on the lake and want to help?If you’re interested in letting someone else use your boat, canoe or kayak, please let Scott know. That would be a huge help for residents who don’t have their own.Live on the lake? If you’re interested in letting others fish from your residence, let Scott know. If you have further questions on this you can reach out to Scott Krueger at scott.krueger@sbcglobal.net or call him at 414-975-2248.

Hi all – it’s that time of year again! Please consider volunteering to help winterize our grounds.  This year it’s a bit different. We’ll be splitting the tasks across two different days. Choose the task that works best with your schedule – either Saturday, October 29 or Sunday, October 30, both days from 10am – 12pm. Each day, please meet at the clubhouse for all activities.

Leaf Pick-Up Dates: Coming Soon!

As the weather gets cooler, the leaves will start to pile up. Here in LDC we will have two leaf pick-up dates for residents. Our Grounds Committee is currently confirming those with our landscaping company.

Just in case you’re new to the area, leaves are to be piled up on pavement, not on the grass, and should not include sticks, grass clippings or other yard waste. Houses around the lake pile them neatly on the road.
Save the Date: LDC Halloween on Saturday, October 29

FYI that Saturday, October 29 will be the official LDC Halloween day. The social committee is meeting soon to discuss the events of this day and other upcoming social events. More details to follow soon.
