LDC Day New Addition: Pickleball! Pickleball is sweeping the nation and if you visit our LDC Facebook page, you’ll see it has become quite the popular sport among residents. This is a game for ALL ages. Now, we’ll be including it in our upcoming LDC Day on Sunday, September 4 from 3pm – 5pm. Thank you to our awesome residents who’ve stepped up to organize this. Whatever your skill level, you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Register for LDC Day by August 21 so you don’t miss out! |
Reminder: Volunteers Still Needed For LDC Day Thank you to those that have signed up to volunteer already! Keep in mind, if we all do just a tiny bit the day of, it’s not a huge lift! Look through the sign up form and find something you can do during your downtime. – Do you like socializing in the morning after the parade? No problem, we need help with dinner! – Do you want to do something that allows you to keep a beverage in hand? No problem, just monitor the dunk tank for an hour! – Are you an early bird that wants to tackle something right away in the morning? No problem, we still need help with breakfast! – Do you want to be the coolest person around and practice your broadcasting skillz? – No problem, sign up to be a Bingo caller (plus, the kids love helping anyway). – Maybe you’re more of a day after kind of person. No problem, help us clean up for an hour the next day. Here is a link to a SignUpGenius page where you can sign up to volunteer for a variety of positions throughout the day. Your help is appreciated and it’s what makes this day so great! Thank you again! |
Reminder: Registration Forms have been Delivered to Mailboxes In order to plan the right amount of food and help that we need, everyone needs to sign up to attend and there is a small cost per person to participate in all of the events. All registration forms have been delivered but if you need another copy you can print out the registration form linked here and send in your registration form and payment to Gretchen Miller.
