As the weather gets cooler, the leaves will start to pile up. Here in LDC we will have two leaf pick-up dates for residents. The dates for these are as follows:

• Pickup date 1: Monday, October 30 and Tuesday October 31 (but plan to have all piles ready by the 30th)
  If the weather doesn’t permit, alternative pick-up dates will be 11/1 and 11/3.
   
• Pickup date 2: Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17 (but plan to have all piles ready by the 16th)
• If the weather doesn’t permit, alternative pick-up dates will be 11/20-11/22

Just in case you’re new to the area, leaves are to be piled up on pavement, not on the grass, and should not include sticks, grass clippings or other yard waste. Houses around the lake pile them neatly on the road. 

Please keep in mind, we’ve been informed by David J Frank that if leaves are placed at the road after they make their final pick-up on 11/16, residents will be responsible for the cost to bring them back out.
