LDC Social Committee Updates | Fun Times Ahead! | Be A Part Of The Magic!

Ready To Pass The Baton
It’s been an honor to be your Social Committee Chair for the last three years. We’ve come together to stand up new experiences, such as our evening with Santa, Pirates Day, wine tasting and our Court Crawl. We’ve delivered three amazing LDC Day events with more than 300 attendees. And we’ve brought the community together to foster what makes our neighborhood so special- our relationships with each other.

My three-year term in this board position comes to an end in 2023. After discussion, there is no one on the current committee to take over as Chair and we are searching for a replacement to lead our community’s social events. If you are interested, please contact me and I can talk you through the commitment, which includes managing a team of amazing and dedicated volunteers who are there to support you, planning and delivering a series of events, tracking budget and attending monthly board meetings. A lot of infrastructure is in place and there will be a period of transition so the new leader is supported.

I want to thank everyone who’s come out to assist me during my term. It’s simply been beautiful to see this community step up, volunteer and be there for each other. Now, it’s time for someone else to lead us socially and experience that same joy.

50/50 Raffle – Social Fundraiser Update from LDC Day…
In addition, we would like to let the community know that we raised $472 from the LDC Day Fundraiser. The Social Committee is using those funds to purchase a Santa suit and other evergreen items to support our events.

We thank everyone who participated in the 50/50 raffle and for their continued support to keep our community engaged and connected through our events. We would love to get your feedback on LDC Day, as well as hear what’s important to you for the future in this survey (all answers are anonymous unless you choose to self-identify).
