Flick N Float On Friday, August 18: The Princess Bride
I know it’s INCONCEIVABLE, but our last flick and float of the season is this Friday. Mark your calendar – it’s a classic and will be shown at the LDC pool Friday, Aug 18th when the sun starts to set.
Remember that it’s BYOT – Bring Your Own Treats (and beverages).
See you there!

Reminder: Volunteers Still Needed For LDC Day
Thank you to those that have signed up to volunteer already! Keep in mind, if we all do just a tiny bit the day of, it’s not a huge lift! Look through the sign up form and find something you can do during your downtime.
- Do you like socializing in the morning after the parade? No problem, we need help with dinner!
- Do you want to do something that allows you to keep a beverage in hand? No problem, just monitor the dunk tank for an hour!
- Are you an early bird that wants to tackle something right away in the morning? No problem, we still need help kid’s games!
- Do you want to be the coolest person around and practice your broadcasting skillz? No problem, sign up to be a 50/50 drawing caller!
- Maybe you’re more of a day before or after kind of person. No problem, help us set up on Saturday or clean up for an hour on Monday!
This day takes a lot of volunteers to make it work. Here is a link to a SignUpGenius page where you can sign up to volunteer for a variety of positions throughout the day. Whatever you can do to help out will make this day all the better for everyone.
This is the part that takes a village. A BIG village. We heart our volunteers! Volunteer at LDC Day
