LDC Pool Opens Memorial Day Weekend!
It’s finally here! The pool season is about to begin. The pool will be open on the weekends starting this Saturday, May 28 through Monday, May 30. The hours each day are as follows:

Saturday, May 28: 12pm – 8pm
Sunday, May 29: 12pm – 8pm
Monday, May 30: 12pm – 6pm

Of course, the pool will close if there is inclement weather. If it closes, we’ll post that in the Facebook group (linked at the bottom of the email if you want to join). Additionally, the pool will be closed during the week, but open on the weekends up until school gets out. The next dates it will be open are as follows:

Saturday, June 4
Sunday, June 5

After that, it will be open starting on Saturday, June 11 through the rest of summer. We’ll send out another email with hours throughout the summer.

Don’t forget to review the updated 2022 Pool Policy
Recreations Chair – Immediate Help Needed With Lifeguards
As we still haven’t found a Recreations Chair, the Board is willing to start with finding someone that can at the very least help manage the lifeguards (right now, they are all hired for the summer – thank you, Brooke!!). We’re open to ideas on how to move forward with this role as a whole, but the immediate need is help with our lifeguards.

If we don’t find someone in this neighborhood, we may have to look outside LDC and/or pay for someone to take this on. We rely on volunteers to keep homeowner assessments low, and hiring an outside service to manage the lifeguards has not been budgeted for.

Please send an email to ldcnewsnow@gmail.com if you can help.
Welcome New Book Keeper/Accountant
A new Accountant/Bookkeeper has been hired – more news on that soon! In the interim, please feel free to reach out to the Board Treasurer, Andrew Rooney (ajrooney65@gmail.com), Board President, Lindsey Burghardt (lindsey.zimick@gmail.com) and/or ldcnewsnow@gmail.com with questions or for anything else that is needed. The PO Box is still being checked regularly and, to arrange a local dropoff, please reach out to one of the people/emails listed above. Thank you, Brad Brogan, for all you’ve done over the years and to all of you for your patience during this transition!

New Printed Directories Coming Soon!
The new printed LDC directories are currently being made at Copy Master in Mequon. I’m hoping they’ll be done in the next day or soon and when they are, those will be delivered to each LDC household. Once they’re delivered, I’ll send out an email confirming delivery. Stay tuned!

Please note, all changes moving forward will still be made to the digital directory here (also linked from the lacducours.org website)l
