Are You Ready for A Spooky LDC Halloween? LDC Halloween is right around the corner! Next Saturday, October 30 to be exact. We’re still looking for a couple of volunteers for the kid’s Halloween party at the clubhouse in the morning if you’re interested. It’s from 10 am – 12 pm and is going to be a blast! And then don’t forget about trick or treating around LDC from 4 pm to 7 pm that night. Just like last year, you can put your porch light on to show that you’re participating and we’ll keep our social distancing rules in place of having candy spread out on a table in front of your house. View full details in the flyer. View the full flyer with details Also, don’t forget to RSVP for the Halloween Party so that we can plan a great event. RSVP for the Halloween Party Volunteer for the Halloween Party ———————————————————————————————————— BIG THANKS to those that helped with Fall Cleanup! To those of you that helped at the clubhouse or picked up trash along River Road and Donges Bay – THANK YOU!! At the clubhouse, we had a small turnout of about 8 people (this doesn’t include those picking up trash). We were able to get everything put away from the pool area, take down the tennis nets, and clean out the planters. However, the dock was not brought in and disassembled and the gutters were not cleaned out. So that work will need to be done at another time. ————————————————————————————————————- Board Meeting Reminders & Updates A couple updates… September Board Meeting minutes are now available on the lacducours.org website. To find these go to the Governance page and use the password LDC2019 We just met this past week for our October Board Meeting. This was used mostly to prep for the November Board meeting. We’ll share more updates on the budget as we have them. Reminder: Board Meeting in November for Residents on Tuesday, November 16. we’ll have another semi-annual board meeting that residents are invited to attend. More details to come. ———————————————————————————————————– Reminder: LDC Leaf Pick Up Days Leaf pick up around LDC will be happening the following days: October 28 & 29, November 18 & 19Reminder: leaves are to be piled up on the pavement, not on the grass, and should not include sticks, grass clippings, or other yard waste. Courts typically pile up leaves neatly on the parking areas. Houses around the lake pile them neatly on the road. |
