Today we had Lakeland Biologists visually inspect our lake, with the hopes of opening the lake for the Labor Day weekend.  Unfortunately, Lakeland observed visual signs of Blue Green algae.  As a result we must continue to recommend that you do not swim in the lake. 

The cooler weather is helping.  Just not enough.  As the lake continues to cool down, the algae will naturally die off and the lake will return to its normal state.  We will keep you updated.
