The annual summer board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. outside of the clubhouse with proper social distancing in place. Every resident should’ve received the meeting agenda and proxy in their mailboxes today.
All residents are welcome to attend, but if you’re unable, please submit your proxy to your friendly neighborhood board member. And if you want to slip that person a fun-size Snickers to make sure your proxy lands on top*, so be it.
Pool sign-up anyone?
A reminder to everyone to please use the Sign-up Genius link below to sign up for pool slots while the session is still open. While we’ll continue to allow walk-ins at times with low attendance, we’d still like to keep an accurate count as the comfort level of some residents will depend on how many are officially signed up.
Also, please don’t abuse the system by using multiple email addresses. We know who you are. You can still attend more than three times per week, but any number after that will have to be as a “walk-in,” provided there’s room.

Sand anyone?
A whole truckload of the finest sand this side of Bali will be dumped on our beach on Friday. If the kids of LDC want to help spread that sand out, that’s cool. Also, the person who guesses closest to the total number of sand grains on our beach will win a fun-size Snickers.**
Tennis anyone?
Private and semi-private tennis lessons are now available for all child, teen and adult residents of LDC. Private lessons will run $25/hour and semi-private lessons will run $20/hour/person. Lessons will be led by Hailey or Chatton Haws from Elite Sports Clubs and payment can be made directly to them.
Call Kaila Haws (262.339.3992) directly to schedule your lessons.
*To be clear, you will not receive any benefits from having your proxy on top. That’s ridiculous.
**No they won’t. There’s no possible way of knowing how many grains of sand are on the beach. That’s also ridiculous.
