How’s Lac du Cours going to spend your HOA dollars this year? Are we putting in an airport runway? Are we buying a Boeing 747 to land on that runway?! How much is that air traffic control tower going to cost?!?!
Come to the annual LDC budget meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the clubhouse to find out. Packets will be arriving in your mailbox soon. If you can’t make it, please give your proxy to a neighbor or board member.
Job Opening: Recreation Director
The position of Recreation Director has opened up on the LDC Board. This is your chance to carry on the long-standing tradition of fantastically fun-filled neighborhood activities. Interested? Attend the budget meeting or email communications@lacducours.org.
Picnic Woods
We knew this time would come and, unfortunately, that time is now. Those nasty Emerald Ash Borers have forced us to remove all ash trees in the picnic woods in front of the pool to avoid liability concerns. All but six existing trees will be removed starting in early December with cut logs available to all homeowners free of charge.
We’ll replant a variety of trees as soon as weather permits in early Spring. The planting plan will be available at the annual budget meeting. Please contact Chris Korjenek by phone at 414.507.2326 or via email at ckorjenek@gmail.com.
Oh Christmas Tree…
Sick of all that ooey gooey tree sap pooling up on the roof of your car? Look no further than the LDC trailer for all of your Christmas tree hauling needs. Call Hack Noyes at 242-9987 to rent the neighborhood trailer free of charge. Even if it’s just a little ol’ Charlie Brown tree.
