There have been numerous fox and coyote sightings around the neighborhood. Hack Noyes spoke to a DNR warden who provided the following information:

• Healthy foxes and coyotes will not threaten a human being
• If faced with either animal, simply back away
• Do not under any circumstances feed the animals

However, those with small animals should be vigilant of coyotes. The City of Mequon has a brochure with techniques.
