Some concerns were raised regarding the issue of the timing of food being served at the clubhouse. The Monster Mash Party will begin at 5:30, but neighbors are welcome to drop in anytime after 5:30 and food will be available. The party is intended to function a bit more like an Open House, with younger children likely taking part in activities earlier due to early bedtimes and older kids becoming hungry later—after the initial candy rush has worn off. Whatever age or stage your family is at, you are welcome to the clubhouse for dinner and refreshments and bonfire whenever you are ready that night after your trick-or-treating is done. If you instead happen to prefer sipping some witches’ brew in the peace of your own home that night, we encourage you to leave your light on and pass out goodies to the little ghouls and goblins that call LDC home! Please RSVP for this event to shannontigerteacher@gmail.com so we can make sure to have enough food.
