I would first like to thank outgoing President and Grounds Chairperson Hack Noyes for all his efforts during the last four years. His dedication and hard work is appreciated by all. Additional thanks go out to outgoing Board members Lou Henneck, Lake Chairperson, and Todd Minkin, Pool Chairperson – both were active and involved Board members and their efforts were greatly appreciated. Thanks to all three of you!

True to Hack’s promise at the May homeowners’ meeting, he has not faded into the background and is assisting new grounds chairperson Mike Buffoni. Mike and Hack coordinated an LDC help day on June 3rd to assist Julius in removing some downed and dead trees. Thanks also to Dan Contardi for getting up early on a Saturday morning and helping us out. Hack has also been a resource to me as I transition into the President role.

I would like to welcome our incoming Board members Mike Buffoni, new Grounds Chairperson, Chrissy Contardi, new Security Chairperson, and Gary Feldman, new Pool Chairperson. We look forward to serving with them and the insight they will bring to the LDC Board.

The Memorial Day party was a success, despite the cool weather. Approximately 130 residents participated and many braved the cool weather to enjoy the pool! Special thanks to Kerri Schanowski and Chrissy Contardi for their efforts to help coordinate the Memorial Day party.

Summer weather has finally arrived (albeit a little later than we all would have liked), school will be out shortly, and the LDC summer activities will begin! If you haven’t had a chance yet to sign up your kids, please contact Stacey Names. Stacey has worked hard to provide an excellent program of fun and affordable summer activities for our kids. Please do check out what’s going on and get involved!
